Summerscapes Art Camp: Week One (Sold Out)

July 15–19, 2013, 9:30 am–4 pm

Students must be ages 8-11 years old to participate.

Want to inspire your children’s creativity? Sign them up for Summerscapes, our stimulating, museum educator–led mini-camps. Each of the five-day sessions begins with an exploration of our Frank Lloyd Wright building, permanent collection, and special exhibitions. Then it’s back to the art studio for hands-on projects that are carefully designed to ensure successful outcomes no matter what your child’s age. Your child will have the chance to work on individual and collaborative projects and to experiment with everything from painting and sculpture to printmaking and collage. Summerscapes concludes with a mini exhibition so children can share their creations with family and friends.

Fee: $500 per week, $900 two weeks ($400/$700 for members). Limit is two weeks per child. Includes all art materials, snacks, a family pass, and photos documenting the program.

For more information, call 212-423-3637 or email spospiech@guggenheim.org.
